Its a new name and new attitude for Rev Theory, formerly Revelation Theory. The band, now a five-piece with the addition of a second guitarist, is still firmly entrenched in the hard rock world, but the energy and adrenaline of Light It Up, their sophomore full-length release, are light years beyond 2005s Truth Is Currency. Its evident as soon as the fists-in-the-air anthem Hell Yeah blasts out of the speakers, followed by the determined stomp of Favorite Disease and the rousing title track.
