INTRODUCTION:
Based on the excellent book by the same name by Frederick Forsyth, I enjoyed the movie almost as much as reading the book. The suspense is maintained very well. The movie is worth watching for the excellent role of Jon Voight as Peter Miller and the gorgeous Maria Schell for her

After reading the diary of an elderly Jewish man who committed suicide, freelance journalist Peter Miller begins to investigate the alleged sighting of a former SS-Captain who commanded a concentration camp during World War II.
